Over the Edge

The snow was deep enough that we were able to slide down the steep area into a pile of snow.

Family Pictures

We took almost 60 pictures, but came out with two. These remind me of an old Calvin and Hobbes cartoon.

Gumball

Emily had her first gumball and loved every moment of it.
Here she is offering a taste to Nana.

Nutcracker Ballet

In December, Nana was in the Nutcraker Ballet. Emily and Mom were able to go to the show and a tea party with the cast after the show. Emily had a great time and is looking forward to starting either dance or ballet this coming year.
With a Sugar Plum Fairy

Emily thought that the prince was pretty handsome. Afterwards, she kept telling me how he has killed the mouse.

The Buck Stops Here

While we get plenty of visits from does and fawns, we rarely see bucks during the year. Then, just after hunting season starts, these guys start showing up. They seem to know that our property is right on the edge of Bountiful City limits and, therefore, just inside the "no hunting" area.
