Midnight Snack

Last summer, my company was paving highways at night, so I came home very early AM a few times. One night, after everyone had gone to bed, I came home and found the following. Jessica called it a "mouse"
See the fingerprints? These look like they belong to a 2 year old.
Livin' in the Ritz - good thing we buy in bulk.
The culprit. Normally, if a kid is sleeping in a crib you would think that he couldn't get out, go downstairs and make a mess, then climb back up the stairs and flip himself back into his crib. I didn't believe it either, until I sat in his room in the dark one night and watched him do it. Fortunately, flipping yourself in and out of a crib that is twice your height is very tiring. Nonetheless, he is still sleeping with one eye open.

It is a miracle he did not get hurt!! That boy is going to require lots of watching!! Maybe a 4 foot gate across his door?: -)

Have you thought about getting a Crib Tent? Here's what I found -

Cozy Crib Tent™ II - http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=15029080

Find peace of mind with this incredible crib tent. It helps prevent injuries from falls and injuries to limbs between crib rungs, and prevents child from wandering or climbing out. It also protects from unwanted objects, insects and pets entering crib, while containing child's own bottles and toys. Tent does not hinder crib rail from being lowered for easy access, and does not interfere with the use of a bumper. No tools are necessary to install the tent, which easily attaches to most standard and sleigh-style cribs.
